The Friends of St Lawrence Heritage Trust Wassail 2013 takes place on Friday 13th December, at St Lawrence Church Hall. Tickets are £8.

Join us at 6.30pm for an evening of carols, mulled wine and plentiful nibbles. The wassail helps to raise funds for the upkeep of our lovely parish church, and is organised by the Friends of Chobham St Lawrence Heritage Trust.

What is a Wassail?

The custom of wassailing is an English Christmas tradition, which is essentialy a boozy version of carol singing.

In Saxon and in Norse, wassail means "good health".
